Bingo

For those unfamiliar with the cartoon puppy named Bingo, allow me to say a few words. There is an Australian animated show called Bluey which is streaming on Disney Plus if you live in the United States. Bluey is a six year old puppy who lives with her younger sister Bingo, her father Bandit, and her mother Chili. 

At least in the episodes I have seen, Bluey and Bingo engage in largely unstructured play with their father, Bandit. Bandit seems to have endless time and energy and a boundless threshold for pain — the things those puppies do to him!?!!! I do wonder what mothers or fathers who turn on a couple of episodes while they do the laundry or vacuum might be thinking about what sort of parent the show is teaching their children they ought to have.
