Day 4 of 100: Two Bears Fishing on a Lake

Yesterday I was having a conversation with @tunudraws and I told her I like to use children’s picture books as inspiration for some of my projects. 

Today I was looking at the book Big Bear and Little Bear Go Fishing written by Amy Hest and illustrated by @erinestead 

I wondered how I would do if I used one image from that book as a starting point. According to the book flap from my library copy, Stead used watercolors and pencil. I used a marker and TomBow markers. I think what I like most about my image is the lake. My lake is quite a bit darker and, perhaps, deeper, than the one in the original image.
