Junk Journal Week 3
The art this week was done by my daughter, Marta. These are mock intaglio works.
I read three very different books this past week; the book’s were about: the arctic, the American constitution, and female friendship. Yesterday, I started reading Stephen King’s The Outsider.
As seems to be the case in the streaming era, there is too much great TV to possibly watch it all. Somebody Somewhere is a recent discovery for me. A little on the raunchy side, but I do enjoy the queer humor. Not in the journal yet, but in memory of the great David Lynch, I started rewatching Twin Peaks the Return last night. Are you a David Lynch fan? Do you have a favorite? Did you ever listen to him doing the weather on KCRW?
The Criterion Channel has a Nicole Kidman festival and I’ve now seen four very different movies: The Stepford Wives, Dead Calm, To Die For, and Margot At the Wedding. All for the first time. Do you have a favorite Kidman picture?
What about you? What have you enjoyed reading or watching this week?
