Our garden here in New Jersey is small: we have two four by six foot raised beds and a few pots where we grow tomatoes, bell peppers, and some herbs in the yard. In the front we have a variety of annuals and a few perennials including some vinca vines and geraniums in four hanging baskets held up by shepherd's hooks. My wife, Monika, is the one who usually trims the annual flowers.
