Blueberry Muffins -- with Sourdough

A couple of weeks ago, I switched from making yeast bread to sourdough because it is difficult to find yeast in stores around here. (I do still have one full jar.)

The times had an article yesterday:

8 Delicious Ways to Use Your Sourdough Discard:You finally got that starter going. Now, use the discard in delicious baked goods while eliminating waste. They recommended, among other things, to add a bit of the material to muffins. So, today I tried it with blueberry muffins. The results were good.

By the way, Hammonton, just down the road, and where my blueberries for these muffins came from, claims to be the blueberry capital of the world. Check out their blueberry festival page. Oh, and Kellyanne Conway picked blueberries in Hammonton as a young girl. Her secret service code name is also blueberry.
