Recent Reading: Practice

Rosalind Brown’s Practice is a short novel about a woman working on essay about Shakespeare’s sonnets and the thoughts that go through her mind during the process. The book was quite a bit more sexual than I expected with some graphic descriptions of female masturbation as well as long ruminations on poetry and poetics. A quick but intense read.
