Recent Reading: The Sunlight Dialogues

I have decided to read several novels by the late John Gardner. When he died in 1982 in a motorcycle crash he was considered one of the most important American authors along with Saul Bellow, John Updike, John Cheever, E.B. White, Bernard Malamud, Joseph Heller, Isaac Bashevis Singer, James Michener, Philip Roth, and J.D. Salinger. I have most of the major work by each one of these late writers aside from Gardner.
