Recent Watching: Safety Not Guaranteed

Last Night, I decided to finally start watching a movie that has been sitting in my queue for months: Safety Not Guaranteed.

The movie starts when some journalists in Seattle -- back in 1997 when more people read magazines -- decide to investigate this classified ad that someone placed:

Wanted: Somebody to go back in time with me. This is not a joke. P.O. Box 91 Ocean View, WA 99393. You'll get paid after we get back. Must bring your own weapons. I have only done this once before. SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED.

The movie is about time travel, but not about time travel. In the two thirds I have seen there has been not time travel. I suppose it is a comedy, a rather black comedy. Whatever it is, it is a charming movie with a well-written script.
